🔧 Minor Improvements & Changes
Quicker timer usage mode – A a further speed improvement will introduce a "Play" button alongside the "Stop" button on an issue, allowing users to Timer Mode – We’ve added a handy “Play” button right alongside the “Stop” button on issues. Now, with a single click, you can instantly stop and submit the your current time log while simultaneously starting a new log on a different issue—perfect for switching tasks on the fly. You can turn this on in your preferences for faster time tracking. (It cannot be enabled if there are mandatory fields configured for logging timeNote: his mode is unavailable if mandatory time logging fields are configured.)
Changing Start Time behavoiur - We heard you and made changes, and from now on changeiong the start time won’t change the end time but will extend the duration
Copy worklogs on Timeline - Intorduced a new “Copy to” option on the timeline under the … menu to easily copy your worklogs to a different date.
Date format change on Reports - With this new option date format can be changed on the fly on the reports and you can choose from 4 date formats
Issue Key text in the issuse searcher - It is now possible to provide only the Issue Key when searching for an issue and the app will insert the relevant Issue to the searcher when the user navigates from the field for more faster logging experience using keyboard
Move Tags settings from the Admin page to the Tags page - We moved Tags settings as “Mandatory Tags” and “Maximum assignable tags” options from the Admin page to the Tags page for more consitent UX
App Load Time Optimization - We made changes to the app to load its components fasterBehavoiur - You told us how you want it, and we listened! Changing the start time of a time entry no longer shifts the end time; instead, it adjusts the duration by extending it.
Copy Worklogs on the Timeline - Duplicating worklogs just got simpler. Now, use the new “Copy to” option found under the … menu on the timeline to quickly copy your worklogs to another date. Perfect for recurring tasks or correcting entries.
Flexible Date Formats on Reports - Customize your reporting experience by switching between four different date formats on the fly—making it easier to read and export reports exactly how you want them.
Issue Key-Only Search - You can now enter just the Issue Key in the searcher, and when you navigate from the field, the app automatically loads the relevant issue—speeding up keyboard-driven workflows and getting you logging faster.
Tags Settings Moved for Consistency - To simplify navigation, we moved Tags settings — including “Mandatory Tags” and “Maximum Assignable Tags” — from the Admin page to a dedicated Tags page. This change makes managing tags more intuitive and consistent across the app.
App Load Time Optimization - We’ve fine-tuned our backend to make the app load faster, so you can get started tracking your time without any delay.
