With the simple press of a button, users can now start and stop timers, enabling precise time measurement for each task or issue. The timer is available on the Timeline and Issue screens.
You can switch to this mode using a toggle button on the timeline, which is available next to today's input field. You can enter the worklog data before or during the start of the timer, then use "Stop" to stop it and create the worklog. Using the "Reset/X" button, you can stop a running timer without creating a worklog.
The Timeline page offers additional flexibility. Users can start a timer without associating it with a specific issue or data. This functionality serves as a quick logging tool, helping you record time spent even when details are pending.
On each Issue page, users can seamlessly manage timers. If a timer is initiated on one issue, it remains visible when navigating to other issues. This allows users to conveniently stop or log the timer from any issue page.
Another convenient function is that you can start a timer with the data of an already existing worklog. In this case, the Issue, description, billing status and Tag of the existing worklog will be selected for the newly created worklog, and the stopwatch will start.
The Timer feature extends its utility to existing worklogs. Users can start the timer based on prior worklogs, enabling the swift resumption of previously unfinished tasks with the same issue and descriptions.

In order to create a worklog, the stopwatch must run for at least 1 minute. This requirement ensures that time logs accurately represent meaningful work intervals, maintaining a high level of data accuracy.
The timer operates with a maximum duration of 24 hours. After reaching this threshold, the timer will automatically stop. This restriction prevents timers from running indefinitely, promoting a more controlled and realistic representation of tracked time.
