Quick Filters
Quick filters in link fields is a feature designed to help users quickly filter and find relevant linked items.. If you work with complex item relationships (for example, an item that is linked to dozens of other items), this feature greatly improves usability by allowing you to slice through large lists of linked items.
Configuration
As a Jira administrator, you can configure quick filters on any link field. Once set up, all users will see the filter options when viewing items that use that field.
Follow the steps below to configure quick filters:
Go to the Issue view tab in field configuration and see the Quick filters configuration field.
Click on the field to see a list of available filters to apply. The selection of filters in this dropdown is composed of the list of default JQL filters.
Select the filter you’d like your users to see in issue view.
Note: make sure the selected filters are public or shared to the relevant users/groups.Save the configuration.
Default filters
The Default Filters feature allows Jira administrators to predefine which filters are automatically applied when users access the Issue View. Only filters selected in the Quick Filters field can be selected as Default Filters.
