Please note that the Traffic Light field is supported only in company-managed projects.
Create a Traffic Light Custom Field
In its essence, STAGIL Traffic Lights is a custom field. Upon the app installation, this will have to be done manually through Settings → Work items → Fields → Create new field. A dialogue will pop up in which you can find a Traffic Lights field under Advanced.
To create a new Traffic Lights field that can be used in any space:
Navigate to the Jira admin panel using the icon in the top navigation and select Work items.
In the Fields section in the side navigation, select Fields, then Create new field.
In the panel that opens:
In Field type select STAGIL Traffic Lights.
Give your field a name — this will appear on the work items across your site, so be sure to choose a clear name.
Add a description — this description appears on the Fields table you’re currently viewing for sorting purposes.
When you’re done, select Create.
After the field is created, ensure that the field is added to the following Jira configurations:
Next, set up the right permissions for the field to be displayed correctly -> Permissions.
After the field is created, a new setting field becomes available in the field editing panel: Searcher template. By default, the field is created with no templates set. Select Forge custom field searcher to make the field accessible for search, e.g. selectable as a filter in Jira Search.
